DIGITAL TWIN
DG Twin derives from “digital twins”.
The means of connectivity today allow any real engineering system to continuously "talk" to its virtual counterpart: the digital twin.
From this dialogue, which becomes continuous learning, can derive information useful for the performance optimization of any product and the progressive adaptability to the specific needs of use.
DATA DRIVEN ENGINEERING
The innovation proposed by DG Twin is based on the concept of "data driven engineering", that is to say the collection of data in real operation for the identification of improvement solutions aligned with the objectives of economic and environmental sustainability.

DG Twin Co. ltd is a Startup established on 06.05.2021, registered in the Company Register of the C.C.I.A.A. of Naples to the Innovative Startup Section, authorized as a Spin-off of the National Research Council (CNR) with resolution of the BoD of 28.07.2021.
FUNDING
DG TWIN is proof that excellence in solutions and services is a qualifying element not only for private customers, but also for institutional interlocutors.
In fact, our business idea has received recognition and funding both nationally and internationally, even before the establishment of the company:
funding under the "Start Up Campania 2020" tender for the "SCOUT - Customized systems for optimal power management in off-road use of thermal engines" project, admitted to the concessions granted by the Regional Department of Research, Innovation and Startups, as per B.U.R.C. no. 20 of 1.3.2021.
the funding of the digital experiment "GEKO - Gear and propulsion integrated control in connected electrified mobility", at the DIH-WORLD 1st Open Call, funded by the European Commission.
the funding of the project "INGRID - INvolving hydrogen for a GReener and Innovative energy Deployment" within the H2020 PLATOON Project funded by the European Commission.
the SMART MONEY funding from Invitalia for a framework agreement stipulated with the MEDISDIH of the Puglia Region.
To these stages are added:
the admission already from July 2021 to the Incubator of Città della Scienza and University of Naples "Federico II" Campania NewSteel.
the filing of the national patent application: "Method and system for optimizing energy management and the quality of use of vehicles for the mobility of people and materials equipped with electric or electrified propulsion" - P1487IT00, March 2022.
the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology for the organization of a Climathon based on DGeco technology in the city of Naples.
the selection of DGeco among the 100 best solutions for the ecological transition as part of the THE ARCH initiative
